Microfilmed Land Record

 

During the years 1985-1988, all the existing Record of Rights (commonly known as Revenue Record) kept in Talukas of all Districts of Sindh was re-written, microfilmed and stored in Hyderabad by the Board of Revenue in order to unify its format and preserve its authenticity. Since the microfilming technology has become obsolete, and it was difficult for the public to access freely, Board of Revenue has converted this record into digital images and placed it online for the public for free viewing and reference. This record comprises of Village Form 2, Village Form 7-A and 7-B and pertains to all the Districts of Sindh. It contains 932,000 pages approximately.
