Property Registers are the registers of record of rights (ownership and mutation record) maintained by the Board of Revenue for Karachi City. The City was initially surveyed under the colonial times and was distributed in 28 quarters like Lyari Quarter, Saddar Quarter etc. Hence for every quarter, separate maps and property registers have been maintained, It is commonly called City Survey Record and it contains the record of ownership of about 35000 plots / houses / shops etc. falling within the City Survey Area. Board of Revenue has now digitized those Registers and placed them on line for free viewing and reference.
